A temporary job on the other side of the country, an interim assignment for which you work for a client for a few months or immediately need a (replacement) van: there are many reasons why you want to lease a car for a short period.

If you want to lease a car flexibly as a self-employed person, a short lease contract offers a solution. This offers various advantages compared to buying, renting or long-term leasing a car.

Advantages short lease for self-employed persons

Shortlease fits seamlessly with your needs as a self-employed person without employees. Especially the flexibility is a big plus. As a self-employed person, your work sometimes changes from day to day. Suddenly a big job comes up? Then of course you want to be on the road quickly with a luxury car or spacious van.

When the assignment is over, you simply return the passenger car or commercial vehicle. Another option is of course to continue your contract with an upgrade to another model. A short lease contract gives you a lot of flexibility.

Lowest price

Shortleaseland offers the lowest prices in the Netherlands. We are completely transparent about this. You pay a fixed monthly fee for your car, so that you no longer have to worry about taxes, insurance and maintenance costs. The only thing you have to do yourself is refuel.

Do you also want to use the car privately? Then it is important to report this to us. Private use entails extra costs in the form of an addition to your taxable income. We are happy to think along with you about the option that works best for you.

How does short leasing for freelancers work?

Shortlease is a kind of all-inclusive short-term lease and is very similar to renting. A short lease agreement can be concluded with Shortleaseland for a period of 1 to 24 months and is always based on full operational. You pay a fixed amount per month. The only additional costs are the costs for fuel and any fines.

In many cases, a short-lease car is just as competitively priced as a full operational lease with a longer term. We can achieve this low price thanks to our excellent knowledge of the market and the smart buying and selling of vehicles.

Short leasing is the ideal solution for the self-employed for several reasons. It offers a lot of flexibility and there are few risks involved. This is partly due to the shorter term, the possibility to cancel your contract at any given time after the agreed term and the fact that we do not ask for your annual reports. We assess your application based on the confidence we have in you as a person and not just on the figures behind it.

As a freelancer, a flexible lease contract can be the ideal solution. For example, you may have to travel to the other side of the country for a few weeks in a row and you would therefore like a more spacious vehicle. Or maybe you have to deal with seasonal peaks, so you don't always need a car and need to be flexible in this.
