FAQ
-
I am a starting entrepreneur and would like to lease, what are the options?
As a starting entrepreneur you are very welcome with us. Together with you, we look for a suitable solution, so that you can hit the road within a short period of time. We do not need annual reports: trust in our customers is of paramount importance to us.
-
What is short lease?
Short lease is a form of full operational lease, but for a shorter period. For example, maintenance, breakdown assistance and road tax are included in the agreement. You can already lease a car from 1 month, but you can of course also choose to conclude a contract for a longer period or extend the lease per month. So you have more flexibility without extra worries.
-
What is your process?
After submitting your quotation request, an adviser will contact you and discuss the possibilities with you. Once you have found the right car, a contract will be drawn up. The adviser asks for your driver's license and bank account number to keep the process going. As soon as you have signed the contract, the application will be processed and any missing information will be requested. As soon as we have received all the necessary information, we will process it and email the invoice for the deposit and the 1st monthly installment. You must pay this invoice before the due date. As soon as the payment is visible on our account, we will forward the request to the planning and we will contact you by telephone to set a date for collection or, of course, delivery to the desired location.

Which details do I have to provide?
To receive a quotation, we need your personal details so that we are able to contact you. This means that we at least need your name, telephone number and email address.
For entrepreneurs and other business customers, choosing an electric company car can be a smart and future-proof choice. Electric company cars offer various advantages and help make your company more sustainable.
Lower costs per kilometer
Charging a company car electrically is generally still a lot cheaper than filling up with diesel, especially if you have the option to charge at home. In addition, the maintenance costs of electric vehicles are also a lot lower, partly because there are fewer moving parts, which means that the parts wear out less quickly. This also means that the costs per kilometre are generally a lot lower for electric vehicles than for vehicles that run on petrol or diesel.
Lower additional tax rate for electric vehicles
The additional benefit is an amount of money that you pay for the private use of a car. The amount of this additional benefit rate is determined each year. At the moment a car is registered, the additional benefit rate remains fixed for the next 60 months (5 years). For electric commercial vehicles from 2025, a lower additional benefit percentage of 17% currently applies up to a maximum catalogue value of €30,000. You pay the regular additional benefit rate of 22% on the remaining value above this €30,000. Are you leasing an electric commercial vehicle that was registered before 2025? Then you benefit from even more advantage. For example, the rate in 2021 was 12% up to a catalogue value of €40,000, in 2022 16% up to a catalogue value of €35,000 and in 2023 and 2024 16% up to a catalogue value of €30,000. At Shortleaseland we also have some models from 2022-2024 in stock, so you benefit from an extra low additional tax. Curious about the possibilities? Our lease advisors are happy to help you.
Sustainable entrepreneurship
Sustainability is playing an important role in more and more companies and sustainability goals are being set with a view to the future. Electric company cars can of course contribute to achieving these goals and contribute to a green image. In addition, with electric transport you ensure that you can still reach all your customers, including those who live in inner cities. With an electric company car you still have access to the environmental zones and zero-emission zones, so you can continue to carry out your work everywhere.
