Do you temporarily need a private car? Then private short lease is a smart option. It is cheaper than renting and you can choose from more than 100 models.
At Shortleaseland, you can already lease a car as a private individual from a contract term of two months. After that you can easily cancel the contract monthly. An upgrade to a different model or short lease for a longer period are also possible.

How does short leasing work for private individuals?
Private short leasing is ideal if you want to know exactly where you stand in advance. You conclude a short-lease contract for a minimum period of 2 and a maximum of 12 months and pay a fixed amount per month. This amount includes all costs: maintenance, repairs, roadside assistance, motor vehicle tax and all-risk insurance.
This way you avoid unpleasant surprises afterwards. You only pay your own fuel costs and any fines for traffic violations. Short leasing therefore offers a lot of flexibility and few risks, partly due to the shorter term and the possibility to cancel your contract monthly after the agreed term.
It is also possible to exchange the lease car for a more luxurious or larger model. In addition, a short-lease car at Shortleaseland is in many cases just as competitively priced as with a lease contract for the longer term.

Can I go abroad with my lease car?
You can drive in your lease car in most of Europe, but you do need a green card for this. You can easily request this via contractbeheer@shortleaseland.nl. In addition, some countries are excluded. Would you like to receive more information about this? Please contact us at 088 700 1888.

Can someone else drive my lease car?
Someone else may drive your car, this is no problem at Shortleaseland. However, we would like to receive a copy of the person's valid driver's license, so that we can add it to your file.

What is your process?
Once you have submitted a quotation request, one of our advisers will contact you to discuss the application with you. If you have found a suitable car, the contract will be drawn up. The adviser will therefore immediately ask for a copy of your driver's license and bank account number, in order to speed up the process. When the contract is signed, the application will be fully processed and any missing information will be requested from you. As soon as all information is complete, everything will be processed and we will email the invoice for the deposit and the first monthly installment. This invoice must be paid before the due date. Only when the payment is visible on our account, we transfer the request to the planning and contact you by telephone to set a date for the collection or delivery of the car.

How quickly can a car or commercial vehicle be delivered?
The big advantage of Shortleaseland is that we have more than 500 vehicles in stock. This means that a car or commercial vehicle can usually be picked up or delivered to your home within 24 hours. However, it is possible that the desired car is currently not in stock and will only be available later on. In that case, our advisers will help find a suitable (temporary) solution.

To receive a quotation, we need your personal details so that we are able to contact you. This means that we at least need your name, telephone number and email address.
